|BIO (GRAPHY)|

Hey there, I’m Natalie Perez

Born and raised on the islands of Trinidad and Tobago, my family and I moved to the United States when I was 14 years old. Though America is known as the land of dreams, I was bitten by the acting bug long before our big move. I can still remember the first time I stood on stage; it was to play the role of “Peace” in my church's play at the age of 11. I will never forget the rush of excitement and the feeling of being so at peace as I stood in my beautiful green gown. Since that day, trust me when I say I was that drama club girl. Indulging in everything that would immerse me in that world. I took part in my church’s theatrical society, schools’ drama club and anything that allowed me to explore the craft I love. Because of this I have always sought to improve my acting abilities by continuously training through different community programs and working with coaches including the 2% collective led by Jen Rudolph of the actor’s green room.

What are my entry points?

I am a middle child, so I am often the peace maker in my family. It came as no surprise to me that my entry points are your loving, smart, sweet, and compassionate nurse, who takes pride in caring for her patients. I can also be your smart, steadfast, justice-oriented paralegal who will always fight for what is right. Go figure!

More about me!

After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the age of 16, my mission in life is to live every moment intentionally and truthfully while inspiring others to do the same. I have been happily married to my husband Javier for over 14 years.... (Yikes seems shorter) and I am a mother of two beautiful girls (Leeya 9, Kaylee 5) and a little boy (Mason 1). In my spare time you will find me reading, I mean lots of reading- anything from self-help books, romance novels to sci fi dystopian era or maybe a mix of both (yes, they do exist). I also love to spend time with my family and friends and being from the Caribbean family beach days are always fun for me.  Most times though, you will catch me dancing or singing wherever I am, giving my Toni award winning performance (I wish), even if it is down the aisle of a grocery store or Target. We only get one chance to live each second, minute, moment in life.  I want to intentionally fill mines with as much joy and laughter that I can.

Much love,

Natalie
